The holidays have arrived in Utah County!

Not only do we love this time of year, but we love seeing all of the gorgeous lights and decorations around town. Whether you’re just visiting or have lived here for your entire life, there are a few holiday displays that you must see to get you in the holiday spirit!

While seeing the lights on Temple Square or Hogle Zoo’s holiday displays are fun family traditions, during the chaotic Christmas season it can be a lot to pack up the car and drive for an hour or more on icy freeways. Here are some fantastic places you can see holiday lights right here in Utah County:

1. Your Own Neighborhood

A stunning Christmas display or dancing holiday lights could be just a few blocks from your home. Check out this interactive map of Christmas light displays in Utah to find some near your home.

2. Thanksgiving Point’s Luminaria

With 6,500 luminaries that flash to music, glowing lanterns, live reindeer, games, fires, and s’mores, Thanksgiving Point’s Luminaria in Lehi has something for “kids from 1 to 92.” Tickets range from $12 to $20 for adults and $8 to $15 for children.

3. Pond Town Christmas

Most cities in Utah County put up dazzling holiday displays, but what makes Salem’s Town Christmas so special is the twinkling lights floating on and reflecting off the water. Pond Town Christmas is free and runs from November 29, 2019, to January 1, 2020, from 5:30 to 11 pm.

4. Spanish Fork Festival of Lights

You can stay in the comfort of your own car as you drive through the Spanish Fork Festival of Lights, with cheery lights flashing along to music. The display runs from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day and costs $8 for each car.

5. Riverwoods and the Orchard at University Place

Why not enjoy vivid Christmas lights while you check off some items on your holiday shopping list? The Riverwoods and the Orchards at University Place create extensive light displays every year that will add Christmas cheer to the dark December nights.

6. Spanish Fork Winter Lights Parade

On Friday, November 29, starting at 9 pm, Spanish Fork Main Street is going to light up with luminous holiday floats and displays. The event is free and a great way to kick off the Christmas season.
